Kimberly B. Hudson
Education/Professional
Kim graduated from Auburn University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminology. She then attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She graduated from Cumberland in 2000 and passed the Alabama Bar. Kim practices law with the law firm of Buckner, Davis & Hudson, P.C. and specializes in business/transactional law, with a special focus on nonprofit corporation creation and consultation.
Personal
Kim met her husband Tim while they were students at Auburn. Tim played professional baseball for almost 20 years, and they enjoyed that wonderful adventure. They have been married for 25 years. They have two daughters, Kennedie (23) and Tess (20), and one son, Kade (19). Kennedie is getting her Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University, and Tess and Kade are students at Auburn University. They also have two lovable dogs, Barkley and Otis. Kim enjoys serving in the community, family vacations, reading, and exercising. She and her family worship at Church of the Highlands in Auburn.
Community Involvement
Community involvement is very important to Kim. She and Tim co-founded the Hudson Family Foundation in 2009, a children’s-based charity that serves children and families in need in Alabama and Georgia. Kim has served on the Board of Directors of several nonprofit corporations and strongly supports numerous organizations and works hard to further their efforts. Some of these organizations include the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Aflac Cancer Center at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, The Exceptional Foundation of East Alabama, Esperanza House, CURE Childhood Cancer, The Rally Foundation, aTeam Ministries, Storybook Farm, and the Lutzie 43 Foundation.
